welcome to the party!

Hey!
My name is EJ and I'm a freelance designer!
I started Party Animal Design at the beginning of my master's course as a way of gaining more design experience while studying full-time.
Graduate positions for designers are few and far between, and are even fewer are willing to take on designers who have unique or feminine niches, especially in my field of expertise in IT, who are far more likely to favour masculine, more ridged forms of design.
I'm looking to prove them wrong! So, if you're a business, event or even an online personality who is making similar strides in your field, I'm sure we'll get along just fine!

The Party Animal Design socials are designed to help develop my artistic & design skills, while also being a prime example of the kind of content I can create for you!
I have a lot of fun planning out the content, so be sure to check it out, and hit follow for weekly positive reminders and cute drawings of teddies!

education

2021
This was my first year out of high school when I spent the year completing a diploma of design from Swinburne University of Technology. I learned the fundamentals of adobe creative suite and did my core design classes. This is they year I also started teaching myself digital art, and started my first art social media page.

2024
This is the year I graduated with my Bachelor's in design, majoring in UX/UI design, completed at Swinburne. My capstone project included working closely with the Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery, redesigning their at-home bowel cancer testing kits. I spent most of my degree practising User Experience & Interface design, while also using electives class to broaden my horizons into character design, storyboarding, animation, etc.

2026
This is the estimated graduation date for the completion of my Master's in Design, currently undertaking at Swinburne University of Technology, looking to transfer into Monash University in 2025. The projects being undertaken are heavily research based, and are an attempt to broaden my scope of design and deepen my understanding of User Experience Design.
